You are cordially invited to submit your abstract/paper on your efforts to promote engineering education for sustainable development. The work that you present can be any work that may have a significant impact on higher education institutions' and/or individual practitioners' ability to successfully embedding sustainability in engineering education. We anticipate that most of the work presented at EESD2025 will fall within any of the following categories (or a mix of several):
However this list is non-exclusive and if your work is important for engineering educators in EESD, please submit it here. Indicate on a separate line in your abstract document whether you regard your work to fall under any of the categories above, several of them, and/or another category.
We have decided not to list any specific sub-themes other than the overarching theme: Engineers as Changemakers. However, in order to facilitate grouping of presentations into sub-themes, please indicate on a separate line in your abstract document a sub-theme that you would consider appropriate. Choose a sub-theme that you believe could correspond to e.g. a breakout session with 2-4 other presentations in addition to yours. We will draw inspiration on the suggested sub-themes, although the final set of sub-themes may be different than those suggested.
Finally, we will be hosting three types of presentations at the conference: oral presentations, poster presentations, and workshops. Oral presentations are between 20 and 25 minutes in length, the poster presentation will be 1,5 hours, and workshops will have just under two hours. Indicate on a separate line in your abstract document which type of presentation you would rather opt for.
